Printable Pedigree Chart
Check it out "hard copy" fans! We've added yet another convenience to OneGreatFamily,
and it's sure to please all paper lovers.
If you're the kind that must print-out EVERYTHING, then you'll be happy to
hear that we've given you a NEW printable Pedigree Chart.
It's called the "Standard Pedigree Form". It's designed to fit one 8.5 x 11 sheet of
paper with margins set to 0.5 inches, and it's sure to be
a popular item that every subscriber will appreciate.
Just fire up the ol' printer and log in to OneGreatFamily. First, launch the Genealogy
Browser with your favorite family tree. You'll find this new printable Pedigree Chart
under "View" on your Menu bar. Simply click on "Standard Pedigree
Form" ...and voi-la! You're now ready to start printing.
This new feature is best experienced with the latest browser versions, because you can print
preview, set margins, etc.
Click HERE to download the latest version of Internet Explorer,
or HERE for Netscape.
That's just one of the many site improvements we've been making here at OneGreatFamily.
If you haven't noticed it yet, another recent improvement you'll see is the "Family Group Form".
You'll find it in the same place, right under the "Standard Pedigree Form" in your menu.
The task list of site enhancements is dwindling, but you can count on us to keep it up

How do I join someone elses Group?
Groups are a way of interacting with other members. You may either
create your own group or join an existing group.
In order to join a group, you must be given the group name and password by whoever
created that group. Once you have the group name and password, you must go to the group chooser
screen. This is the first page you see after logging into OneGreatFamily. Enter the new group
name and password,in the group name and password fields on the group chooser screen and click
"NEXT" to complete the process.
Once you are in a group you may also invite others to join, and you will be able to
view the genealogy of any anchor within the group you have selected. You also have
the option to create new anchors by uploading a GEDCOM or by entering new names from scratch,
one name at a time.
